Which one is good, and why?
DRNK GRND is emotionally caffeinated because of wonderful supporters like you. Usually, I'd say, Are you mad (in an London accent)? No, arabica and robusta - coffee drinkers must know. 

There is no shortage of places to buy coffee. Every grocery store, café, and website offers another bag, another roast, another promise of a better cup. We happened to enjoy drinking what was available UNTIL...We wanted something different. We wanted to understand coffee well enough to drink it properly.

Like many people, we believed making a great cup was straightforward. Buy good beans, add hot water, and enjoy. It didn't take long to realize how wrong we were. Our early attempts produced cups that were bitter, sour, weak, or flat. We blamed the beans, the equipment, and sometimes ourselves. Yet with every disappointing brew came another question. 

New concepts emerged. A risk.

Those questions grounded us in humility.

We made countless mistakes, but each one taught us something that improved the next cup. The more we experimented, the more coffee became less about caffeine and more about craft.

We spent time comparing brewing methods, testing different roasts, adjusting recipes, and documenting the flavors each approach revealed. We were not searching for one perfect cup, instead we discovered that different brewing styles highlighted different characteristics. Some methods brought forward sweetness, others emphasized acidity, while others revealed deeper chocolate or nutty notes. Rather than asking which brewing method was best, we began asking which method best expressed a particular coffee.

That curiosity naturally led us beyond the kitchen.

We wanted to understand not only what happened in the cup, but everything that happened before it. We began reading about coffee farming, harvesting, processing, roasting, international trade, commodity markets, sustainability, and the people whose livelihoods depend on coffee long before drnk grnd reaches your hands. Coffee revealed itself to be a rewarding fruit grown by people, shaped by climate, economics, logistics, craftsmanship, and culture.

Coffee felt personal. 

We realized that most people like ourselves never take out the time to learn these stories. To one of the least understood drinks that we rely on every morning, carry it to work, meet over it, and build routines around it, but rarely stop to ask how it arrived in our hands or why it tastes the way it does. We believed there had to be an approachable coffee connection with millions of coffee-heads and DRNK GRND with a dash of generosity. 

That idea became DRNK GRND - the phrase "daily grind" and "drink ground" and "grounding"  is equally familiar, sitting quietly in our kitchens and cafés around the world. It is simple, memorable, and rooted in something people experience every day. It reminds us that coffee is not just something we consume. It is something we participate in. 

Does it bring pleasure? with laughter and tears :)

Today, DRNK GRND is more than coffee. It is an invitation to experience coffee with greater awareness. Through stories, brewing guides, infographics, games, industry insights, and carefully researched articles, we hope to make coffee easier to understand without sacrificing its complexity. We believe learning should be enjoyable, visually engaging, and practical enough to improve tomorrow's cup.

Before DRNK GRND, it existed around tables, conversations, brewing experiments, handwritten notes, and countless cups shared among curious people. Those moments shaped everything we have become. Joining as a member allows us to have that conversation.

It is to build an intentional appreciation for coffee. We are adding more practical things to the GRND coffee corner shop that makes understanding 'coffee drinking' even more meaningful.
